Pastel Museum
Located in the castle of Magrin, itself an interesting classified Historic Monument, the Pastel Museum is the only museum in France dedicated to this exceptional plant, whose leaves distributed throughout Europe during the Renaissance, are the origin of the famous indigo color. Nicknamed the blue gold of Cocagne, pastel has greatly helped to forge the reputation of our beautiful region. On the program of the visit: an authentic cocagne dryer, a pastel mill, exhibitions with painting, an audiovisual montage on pastel and its history, and many other surprises!
